Who we are

This site is operated by What Is Stem Cell Treatment, 3626 N Hall St, Ste 610, Dallas, TX 75219, United States. You can reach us through our contact page.

What we collect

Information you give us. If you complete our matching form we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the condition you are seeking treatment for, its duration, prior treatments, willingness to travel, and budget range. Some of this is health-related information. You choose whether to provide it.

Information collected automatically. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring source, and similar analytics data, collected through cookies and comparable technologies.

How we use it

  • To match you with clinics that meet our vetting criteria
  • To send you the materials you requested
  • To respond to your enquiries
  • To measure and improve the site
  • To meet legal and record-keeping obligations, including retaining proof of consent

Who we share it with

Clinics and providers. If you submit the matching form and consent to contact, we share your submitted information with the specific clinics identified to you at the point of consent. Those clinics then handle it under their own policies.

Service providers. Hosting, email delivery, form processing and analytics providers acting on our instructions.

Legal. Where required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers, and we do not share your information with clinics you did not consent to be contacted by.

Consent to be contacted

By submitting the matching form and ticking the consent box, you agree that the clinics named at that point may contact you by phone, text message and email about treatment, including using automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us.

We retain a record of your consent, including the date, time, IP address and the exact wording shown to you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information; to opt out of sale or sharing; and to limit use of sensitive information. To exercise any of these, use our contact page. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sharing.

Retention and security

We retain enquiry information for 24 months, and consent records for at least the period required to demonstrate compliance. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

A note on HIPAA

We are not a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA, so HIPAA does not generally apply to information you give us. It does not follow that the information is unprotected — the FTC Act, the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule and state law all apply to health information held by companies like ours.

We will post changes here with a new effective date.
